The patented modular cellulose-fibre walling system is erected on site, services installed and our lightweight, preblended cementitious, 100% recycled polystyrene and admixture composite infill is pumped into the void. The wall can then be skim plastered and painted or simply painted. The result is a lightweight yet solid wall offering significantly improved thermal and acoustic properties that can withstand a fire for up to 2 hours.

Features and benefits
Together with the permanent formwork and concrete infill, the cured weight of the entire system is between 550kg per m3 and 1350kg per m3 depending on non-loadbearing or loadbearing applications. This represents a weight reduction of up to than 75% when compared to traditional masonry materials, offering distinct design and engineering benefits.
We use non-flammable boards and all components are tested to withstand fire for 2 hours. The system does not give off toxic gases.
The infill material is comprised of recycled polystyrene which acts as insulation that reduces heat transfer through the walls. When one considers that 25% of the energy loss is through the walls, the savings on heating and cooling are obvious.
Due to the air trapped in the lightweight infill, the SanteQ walling system offers similar sound insulation to traditional brick and mortar.
The SanteQ lightweight walling system has amongst the lowest carbon footprints of any construction system. The polystyrene used in the infill as well as the high impact moulded inserts are 100% recycled.
The SanteQ lightweight walling system is assembled and erected quickly and cleanly on site with minimal waste on prefabricated orders. Services are installed, the infill is pumped into place and the joints skimmed. Due to its uncomplicated design, the wall is assured of being plumb and the build quality is consistent. Programme timing and budgets are predictable and construction times are reduced. SanteQ lightweight walls pass the “knock test”.
Cipla Pharmaceuticals, Benoni – 2000m² pharmaceutical manufacturing facility rebuilt with the SanteQ lightweight walling system on foundations not designed to take the load.
Sky Royal Hotel, Sandton – Existing 6 storey office building conversion to a 453 room hotel.
24 Fredman Apartments, Sandton – Existing 6 floor office building gutted and high-end apartments built with SanteQ lightweight walling system. The reduced loads on the existing structure allowed for an additional floor yielding a better ROI.
Kopanong Hospital Extension, Vereeniging – SanteQ lightweight walling has been used on this fast-track project in Vereeniging. The project comprised 10 blocks with a total of 19000m² of walling pumped with SanteQ 600D infill and 45 days.
Tembisa Social Housing Project – The project comprises 11 x 4 storey walk-up blocks with a total of 500 x 42m² units. SanteQ 1250D lightweight infill is being used on all loadbearing walls and 500D lightweight infill on all non-loadbearing walls.
The surface of the board can be covered by ceramic tile, wallpaper, wood panels and other materials.
